3 Versions of Myself

This is my three versions of myself project. Materials: Drawing Pencils, Eraser In this project I drew my current self (left 15), younger self (middle 5) and future self (right 35) posing as if they were in a family picture.

About Me

Image
My name is Cydney Thomas, I am 15 years old, and I am a rising 11th grader. I am a graphic and traditional artist. The main materials that I like to use in my art are: Mechanical Pencils, Drawing Pencils, Colored Pencils, Sakura Micron Pens, White Gel Pens, and Acrylic Ink. I was always drawing, and I started when I was around 2. In my family, my dad always drew video game characters, while my brother always worked on designing architecture. My style could be described as semi-realistic/surrealistic. I mainly draw portraits of females, I also do portraits of males occasionally.

Exemplar Artist

Image
My artist was Katya Pershutova from Russia. Materials: India ink, Acrylic Ink The skill I wanted to learn/portray was her value range.

High Contrast Self Portrait

This is my high contrast portrait of myself. Materials: black sharpie, India ink, white gel pen This project was low-key stressful in the beginning (because I had to restart like 3 times), but it got easier as it neared the deadline.
