Surrealism Project (Photoshop without using Photoshop) (unfished)

this is my surrealism project.

Tree Collage (unfinished ver.)

Image
The main idea for this project was to create a project out of the observational drawings we created outside. I took my project a step further by incorporating live leaves into the project along with one or two flowers. the main idea for my idea of my collage was to make a tree/landscape out of leaves/drawings.

Observational project taken out of context

Image
For this project, I used artist pencils, and q-tips. The cannon is made out of a Japanese soda bottle, and that's how I made the cannon. Overall I really like this project.

Final

Image
This is my final for my drawing class. I did the whole thing using color pencils and cotton balls. Overall I think it turned out nice, but I wished i would have not started coloring the cat on her shoulder and that's it.

Goals/Accomplishments 2018

Image
This is my goals pages for 2017-2018. on my page I said I wanted to paint/draw more, I wanted to draw more children, and that I wanted to work on my handwriting. I also said that I wanted to learn some more Korean and read more online and in real life. the last things I said that I wanted to accomplish was to work on different types of hair, draw more flowers/plants and to get good grades this year.

Still life, 2018

Image
This piece is for my still life project that we worked on earlier in the year. for this project, I used color pencils and colored paper for the whole project. overall, I'm happy with how the project turned out, however, I think I should've used darker tones on some of the flowers and on the chair. I also think I should've darkened the background a little bit.

Ink Project 2018

Image
For this project, I decided to draw a character from my imagination and put her in a setting. So for this project, we had to use various techniques like stippling, cross-hatching, hatching, and etc for the project. the materials used were sticks that I found outside, paint brushes, and the black ink that was used throughout the project. if I had the chance to redo the project I would, because I feel like I could have done better on the flower, and I could have added more texture to the hair. I also should've added shadows to the face and fix some of the proportions of the face. but overall I'm not too happy with how it turned out, but it still looks good.

Untitled, 2018

Image
For this drawing, I pulled up a picture of a random woman off of Pinterest and drew her. The reason this is untitled is that I didn't know what to name her, and the original picture has no name. This is the original picture that I used.

Kim Jiwoon

Image
This is inspired by a Korean model I saw when I was searching through Instagram. I like how I changed up how I usually ink my drawings. the one thing I do not like is the circle on the nose. I don't remember how it got there, and why I inked it.
